Terms of Service
Below are our Service Policies, which are intended to ensure quality, safety, and consistency in our work. By using the services of Caryn's Cleaning Restoration Livonia, you agree to abide by the following policies and procedures.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to keeping your information confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties. We will not provide your personal information to any third-party individual, government agency, or company unless compelled to do so by law.
We use your personal and billing information solely to provide the services you hire us to perform and to administer your customer account.
Photos of Before / After While Working on Your Property
We take photos and video of your property before and after. This helps protect you and us from potential liability concerns. We use the photos and videos to demonstrate work completed; noted defects, deficiencies, issues that arise working on the property. Example: a broken window discovered after removing curtains. Windows not latched due to defective or broken latch before we get start work.
NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRE-EXISTING NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR
CARYN'S CLEANING is never responsible for per-existing normal wear and tear or damage, cost associated with such damage, to the client's property from the sidewalk, street, yard, driveway, inside and outside the property, because routine aging, fading, and gradual material deterioration happen naturally over time and are not caused by cleaner negligence. CARYNS CLEANING is responsible for gross neglect only.
Examples of Normal Wear and Tear
Water damage of any kind. Leaky and running toilet that does not shutoff
Mold and mildew growth resulting from reported plumbing leaks or poor ventilation
Faulty electrical outlets, light fixtures, electrical appliances.
Large holes, gouges, or cracks in walls
Deep stains, burns, or rips in carpeting
Broken windows, doors, or missing fixtures
Mini blinds, shelves not attached the to wall and fall off/break.
Biohazard: Pet damage, urine stains, or lingering strong odors
Carpet worn thin in high-traffic hallways may not come clean.
Loose doors, doorknobs or cabinet handles; or cabinet doors with faulty hinges, drawer bottoms that fall out.
Scuff marks on baseboards or floors we cannot remove
Damaged flooring with gouges or scratches
SPECIALTY CLEANING - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SEPARATE CHARGE - ESTIMATED AND SCHEDULED SEPARATELY
Stove-Tops and Oven / Refrigerators : Grime or grease buildup; long-term neglect.
Oven racks and trays charges not include in oven cleaning.
Refrigerators should be emptied. For an extra charge: We will put food in tubs if necessary; we cannot be responsible for thawed or spoiled food.
Cleaning Behind and Under and both side of Stove and Refrigerator - Extra cost
Prime and Painting
Basements / Garages / Sheds
Windows, Tracks, Screens, Storm Windows, Bay Windows - Curtain removal may be necessary to reach the window. We encourage client to remove or have the curtains removed. Otherwise we have to charge for the service due to time involved. Not responsible for broken windows, pins or latches, weathered brittle screens. Access to windows must be readily available. We do not move personal items, boxes, furniture etc blocking windows.
Power washing garage floors, basement floors.
Cancellation Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to cancel service for personal safety reasons or we are unable to fulfill the contract.
Third Party
We are never responsible for third party contractors on the property nor their property. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel service for personal safety reasons should thirty party contractors be hired to work on the property at the same time cleaning happening. Carpenters may need to walk through areas being cleaned. Furniture delivery people may need access to the property delaying cleaning work. Or movers are hired to move boxes competing for access to rooms being cleaned. In such cases, we reschedule or cancel the contract. If cancellation occurs due to competing third party access, we will assess the situation and determine appropriate fee remaining on the contract.
AVOID WORK ZONE, CLIENT LIABILITY, PERSONAL SAFETY Please remain outside the areas being cleaned for your own personal safety. This includes kitchens, accessing cabinets, refrigerators. We may place orange cones, caution tape around work areas as reminders.
FOR COMPANY EQUIPMENT SUPPLY USE - Under no circumstances may a client touch, borrow, use our supplies or equipment for safety reasons.
Company equipment, tools, cleaning products, chemicals, and supplies are for our use only.
Clients may not touch, borrow, operate, or use any company equipment or supplies for safety and liability reasons.
If a client persists after being instructed not to use company equipment or supplies, Caryn's Cleaning Restoration Livonia may stop the work and cancel the service agreement.
CLEANING SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT USED - INCLUDED vacuums, cleaning floor machines, steam machine, cleaning attachments, rags, cleaning sponges, dish washing liquid, vinegar, ammonia , cleansers, scouring pads.
Pets, Children & Third Parties
For safety and liability reasons:
Pets must be secured in another room during service.
Children must remain out of our work areas.
Family members, friends, visitors, and other third parties must stay out of our work areas.
We are not responsible for pets, children, or third parties who enter our work area or interfere with our work.
We are not responsible for pets that escape through doors that are opened while we are entering or exiting the home.
Customers are responsible for securing pets and supervising children and other persons on the property.
We are not responsible for doors left open temporarily while navigating in and out of the home during service.
